Access Information

Himeji is conveniently accessible by train from major cities and international airports in the Kansai region.

From Kansai International Airport (KIX)
Himeji can be reached from Kansai International Airport by airport limousine bus or by train via Osaka/Shin-Osaka.
From Osaka and Kyoto
JR Himeji Station is easily accessible from Shin-Osaka and Kyoto by the Sanyo Shinkansen.
From Kobe
Himeji can be reached from Kobe/Sannomiya by JR train.
Kobe Airport is connected to Sannomiya by the Port Liner.
From Tokyo
Direct Shinkansen services are available from Tokyo to Himeji.

Accommodation

Participants are requested to arrange their own accommodation. A variety of hotels are available in and around JR Himeji Station. Staying near Himeji Station is recommended for convenient access to the conference venue as well as restaurants, shops, and local transportation.

Hotel availability and rates may vary, particularly during the conference period. Participants are encouraged to make their reservations early.

The conference banquet will be held at:
Hotel Monterey Himeji, which is located adjacent to JR Himeji Station.
